Sometimes the problems of life become overwhelming. War, mass incarceration (incl the prolonged imprisonment of Political Prisoners and Prisoners of War), climate change, continual assaults on immigrants' human rights -- these and far too many other injustices take their toll on our mental, physical, and spiritual health. One means of self-preservation and self-care is to simply attempt to take a mental break. Just fly away from the world's problems long enough to recharge and return to the delay work on being resilient, undermining oppression, and restoring, to the best of our ability, our and others' humanity.
